Morgan Silver Dollar
![]() |
Minted by the United States Mint, the Morgan Dollar is the most popular and widely collected of all U.S. silver coins. The Morgan Dollar was the product of America’s largest silver strike, which occurred at the Comstock Lode in northern Nevada in the mid-1870s. Named after their designer, James T. Morgan, these classic silver coins served as the backbone of daily commerce, both nationally and internationally, for decades. Miss Liberty is featured on the obverse and an American eagle on the reverse. | |
